This photo sums up so much of why I adore Fergus. He loves to please and he loves to be told he’s got it right – over the next few photos in the sequence, he continues without resistance even though I’ve thrown away that rein. Self carriage? Maybe… Honest? Definitely…

He’s not perfect, and I’m a million miles off, but his attitude doesn’t half make me proud of him.
